               Mayor John Hieftje has been endorsed by the Democratic Party LGBT (Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgendered) Caucus. The LGBT caucus joins other groups that have endorsed Mayor Hieftje's re-election bid, including the United Auto Worker Community Action Program, and Laborers Local 499.

"I am humbled and honored to receive endorsements from this diverse group of progressive organizations, all of whom have spent decades working for local families," said Mayor Hieftje.
